The next CluB-12 Symposium will be held on September 18 and 19, 2025, again in the beautiful city of Cambridge. The program committee, headed by Luciana Hannibal and Katrina Burchell, is currently working on putting together the program.

The cluB-12 Symposium is a two-day academic meeting bringing together clinicians, researchers, and patient representatives to advance understanding of vitamin B12 deficiency across clinical, scientific, and public health domains. Programme highlights include:

  • Clinical diagnosis and management of B12 deficiency

  • Patient and clinician experiences

  • Nutritional interactions, maternal and child health

  • Interpretation of laboratory biomarkers

  • Gaps in NICE 2024 guidelines and implications for clinical practice

  • Vitamin B12 sourcing, analogues, microbiota, and plant biofortification

The event includes:

  • Scientific sessions and case discussions

  • Networking opportunities over lunch, tea, and coffee

  • A keynote address and the cluB-12 Annual General Meeting

  • An evening dinner in the Wordsworth Room, St John’s College (Thursday 18th September), followed by drinks in the college bar.

This event is ideal for clinicians, healthcare professionals, scientists, and policy-makers with an interest in micronutrient deficiencies and translational nutrition science.
